Focus all initiatives on one single goal

In dominant position the delta-t COCKPIT AI Copilot shows the business progress to the annual goal, as goal chart and related table, selectable for the entire business or the user’s unit.
As goal term the delta-t COCKPIT AI Copilot guides to use revenue or contribution margin – “sufficient profitable revenue for today and tomorrow” being the prime measure of operational management success.
Several display format are available: year-to-date, monthly, quarterly, by fiscal year.

All users access the delta-t COCKPIT AI Copilot by one single screen comprising four widgets:

Nr 1: Our goal. The dominant widget to establish permanent focus on the goal to be achieved.
Nr 2: The work plan of initiatives. Presenting the initiatives designed to resolve the constraints,
Nr 3: Measuring capability. Presenting the level of capability in agile management.
Nr 4: Communication among operational community members. Showing messages from and to users relating to their obligations.

The delta-t COCKPIT AI Copilot alerts management to a unit in constraint by presenting the deviating from the goal by unit.

In our example unit EUROPE faces a constraint which requires initiatives to resolve.

The delta-t COCKPIT AI Copilot guides to design one-page operational plans comprising a unit’s constraint focussed initiatives.

In TOC terms these are “prerequisite trees” (see Dettmer, “The logical thinking process”)

Reading from right to left (direction selectable in delta-t COCKPIT) such plans comprise:

Critical success factors: The state of constraint resolved (e.g. two constraints to be resolved)
Competitors plans: Not just competitors in same industry – but leaders in addressing the constraint we must resolve.
Necessary conditions: Results to be achieved to resolve the constraints.
Obstacles: To overcome to achieve the necessary conditions.
Commitments: Results to be achieved to overcome the obstacles.
